Not sure, if I would like to see those on the streets. But the second picture is really cool!
Personally, I like simple boots with long narrow shafts below the knees. Ugg boots are positively debatable as well. I think, men's legs get way too little attention these days. Well, here an article about men and ugg boots:

This thread is not about men wearing women's boots, but about the range of styles available and why there isn't more anymore. The last time, I easily found long men's winter boots, was around 1987!
