We do have musicians here! Let's use this thread for everything related to making music - instruments, equipment, accessories.
I think I'm about to return to making some (hopefully) musical noise 😬 This time it will be ... BASSSSSS!!!! Of course, bass.... Will post about it... I never played bass before, so most likely my first bass will be VERY short scale eBay: Ibanez GSRM20 Mikro (should be easier for a long-long-long time ago guitar player 😊).

What means... I'm looking for the bass and the associated equipment.
What do you think about this Joyo guitar clip-on tuner? The reviews are good- they say it picks up the B (as in "BASSSS" 😆).
What about the USB interface? Focusrite Scarlett? 2i2? Solo?

I'm not a musician but I work with pro-audio gear at work.  I bought a Behringer UMC202HD for a streaming PC for I think $45.  Is the Focusrite Scarlett really that much better quality that it would be worth the absurd price or would a Behringer work?

I've read that Focusrites have much lower noise level, than Behringers. Also, I've read that Behringer 404 is of a much better quality, than 202. But 202 should definitely work, it's in my list 🙂
I have 4 of them that came with some guitar hangers. Total crap.

I have a KORG TM-60 that I use the most, it has a lot of fine tuning options etc and not too expensive

Focusrites are pretty good.

I use a PreSonus AudioBox setup to record music on my system
I build and repair guitars (and of course basses lol). I also play, mostly bass but some guitar.

I can definitely help out in the repairing and building aspects for anyone that needs help (and can even make a custom job at a not custom job price - I'm retired and do it more for the love than the money)

Yeah, I wouldn't use Behringer for everything but for this particular purpose of mine, it's fine. We're not recording studio albums, just live streaming events from a small theater. Just out of curiosity, may I ask what your intended purpose is?
