started with smaller items, like cheap moulded shirt and shorts, but rapidly evolved into greater coverage!

My first latex item were some no name latex leggings I bought online, they were women's model so they didn't fit me very well. After that I bought a couple of second hand catsuits online that were a bit damaged and needed minor repairs. But then I kind of realised that for every day use lycra is far more practical, but I still own some latex garments and wear them every now and then, I find them nice to wear them when working out, because I do sweat a lot more in them.

This question gets asked a lot on forums and websites I frequent and without fail, people seem to always say you should buy small things to try it out just like @ltxrob did but my experience is different. My very first latex was a -molded... not glued- full enclosure catsuit with gloves, feet and hood that came with no openings and cost only $150. I used a hole punch to make nostril holes which was the extent of my modifications. I freaking loved it and never regretted buying it. If I knew where I could get another, I'd probably replace it however this was back in 1999. I knew from a very early age that I had a rubber fetish so nothing less total coverage would do for me.
I remember having tried it, I think I was about 14-15.  Ordered a pair of white molded stocking, not too pricy just to try it on.  I felt in love with immediately, but also, I didn't like the way they did not fit...  I don't recall the exact order but next ones where a panty, swimsuit, a cheap molded catsuit and a breath control ( 💓 ) mask from eBay.  The molded catsuit clearly was an error as it did not fit and teared down quite fast.  Then I bought a better catsuit, still on eBay which was a good one, but still not the best fit.  Then I discovered the joy of made to measure chlorinated latex with the early version of the polish futurefetish which offer really decent quality gear, chlorinated and MTM with no over price (back then, all mtm where free).  I think, it's still a good not too pricy store and I still have my first ordered legging from them (just a patch on it but for more than 15 years, that's cool 😊 ).

From there, I only bought from online seller and not from eBay.

I started with cheaper items like skirts and shorts. They eventually ripped and as they are costly to replace I sort of decided to be happy with lycra/spandex stuff as they are more durable, less maintenance and most of all cheaper.
Sounds like a separate thread 😉 How do we call it? My first latex item? Where to begin?

My experience with latex is almost identical to @Anne - I tried small articles and found that although I enjoyed the feel of them, they didn't last long before ripping or falling apart.

Lycra is so much cheaper and easier to maintain.

Just a latex leotard and tights for me to start. When the salesperson in the store said "there's lube in the dressing room" I HAD to try them on. Then I wore them out 😊 . I haven't replenished my latex in several years, but these photos are inspiring me to maybe start again. Latex is so much less expensive now!
My first latex piece, was a red catsuit with neck entry.

I didn't know if I would like latex, but my wife said: You like everything tight, so you will like it.

So I asked her what color I should take. She said all your lycra stuff is black...take a red one.

What can I say....she was right 😁

Neck entry for first latex, that is a bold choice but seems to be the correct one for you.  I don't think I've ever seen a beginner latex wearer go with neck entry as a first piece.  I didn't get my first neck entry until last year and I've been wearing latex since 1999.  It fits you so well, do you mind if I ask who made it?
