Today I upgraded my Apple notebook to their newest OS (Big Sur) and they 'improved' Safari to the extent that flash player works no longer. It is gone and when I try to download it, Adobe says that they discontinued it.
Problem: the games say all that they need flash player. Considering that that program is being discontinued, other computers will probably run into the same problem sooner or later. Is there something that can be done here, or will it just be <sniff, sniff>?

Flash player basically has been killed off by HTML5
Its been on th ecards for a number of years.
Apple never actively supported Flash, but accepeted it as a work around, but they always had their architecture poised in readiness for HTML5

Sites/games that have not recoded for a non flash experience are living on borrowed time unfortunatly irrelevant of Win/MacOS
There is a solution I'm currently testing: https://ruffle.rs/#releases
https://github.com/ruffle-rs/ruffle

It can be run separately, used on a website or as a plugin for Firefox/Chrome/Edge/Safari. It works perfectly fine in Firefox 85b1 for Linux. I think it's even faster, than Adobe Flash 😁

Sounds good. I like the rust programming language. It makes it much easier to avoid many types of common errors. I am looking forward to the results of your testing.
Games (https://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/games.php) are working fine in Firefox 😊

I'm reading how to add the corresponding files to the web-pages.
Oh, BTW, there is no firefox plugin for iCrap:

Quote:Add-ons in Firefox for iOS

Add-ons for the desktop and Android version of Firefox are unavailable for Firefox for iOS.

Apple has created a proprietary iOS extension system which is incompatible with Firefox add-ons and extensions for Android, Mac, Windows and Linux. Also, iOS extensions written for other iOS apps won't work on Firefox for iOS (for example extensions written for Safari won't automatically work on Firefox for iOS).

Tweaked the Gaming page - Games are working even on my iFone!!!! See also this thread: https://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/Thread...8#pid48468

I will keep updating the Ruffle addons, as they publish new versions daily.

BTW, no plugins are needed.
