Full Version: Wearing Bodysuits (Openly) In Public

A few months ago I was itching to wear more fun bodysuits in public. I have a lot of the Nike x Ambush clothing but up until then I'd only worn it at home. I actually wore the reflective pants and jacket out a few times. I decided to chance it and wear the x Ambush NRG bodysuit in black with Ambush black reflective pants and jacket and matching Ambush Air Max 180 sneakers. I wore it to a Covid safe casual event and every girl pointed out that I was wearing the bodysuit. Many of them said they owned the pants or jacket but couldn’t buy the bodysuit before it sold out. Not one treated me like I must be gay...they were like "you're so fashionable" or "I love your outfit and that your daring enough to wear the bodysuit"! In fact I was hit on by most of them, even the ones with boyfriends or husbands.

I have the same outfit in silver and have since mixed them up, wearing all black with the silver bodysuit and vice versa. Everywhere I go even men have recognized the bodysuit also and said it was cool looking.

The Ambush line is all women, but pop culture made it unisex because many guys bought the pants and jacket. I also have the Pyer Moss bodysuits done with Reebok but never wore them because like most women, I don’t like snaps in between my legs and these are not as well done as the Nike's. Some of the Pyer Moss bodysuits have had this plastic stretchy thread that chaffs the thighs pretty hard if worn all day.

I recently wore the Pyer Moss sleeveless bodysuit in black, purple, white with Nike Speed 7/8 shiny black running tights to do errands and only a few women recognized the bodysuit but complimented me on how fit I looked. Not many women or men had seen the tights before but loved how shiny they were.

Last month I bought a few fun bodysuits from Dolls Kill during their super sale, the QR Cutie bodysuit for $9.99 (was a steal!!). Poster Girl’s Stay Watching long sleeve bodysuit for $22.00 and Executive Suite zip-up for $25.00.

I wore the QR Cutie with Nike 7/8 Speed grey shiny tights and nobody recognized the bodysuit as Dolls Kill, but a few women and girls knew it was a bodysuit and complimented me on how cool I looked and commented on my fearlessness to wear what I want even when it crosses social boundaries. I thought that was pretty cool.

Yesterday it was a cold (high of 35 degrees), so I wore a old Bogner fleece lined spandex heavyweight turtleneck bodysuit with Goldbergh's Paris stretch stirrup pants and Moncler suede leather boots my girlfriend gave me. I had so many compliments and it was obvious I was wearing a bodysuit by how flawless the top was tucked in. I love the Bogner bodysuits, they are so comfortable and I love the high cut legs and narrow bottom cut. They are from like 2009/10 season I think. I wish they would re-release them. I only have 2, but want 10.

I bought the Goldbergh python stirrup pants in grey and are going to pair it with Nike's grey python bodysuit. Just looking for a cool occasion.

So plenty of good examples and reasons to wear bodysuits in public for those wanting to get out of the basement haha. Bodysuits are not considered leotards, women and girls consider them fashion, so that’s why it's okay for a guy to wear them in public. It’s viewed as being fashion forward or even couture.

Having such one, using even in public with a pair of jeans or shorts, nobody notices. But had to use belt to avoid jeans to slip down.

Yes. I have a bodysuit like that. Unfortunately, it has a zipper on the back, so wearing it in public is not inconspicuous. However, if you keep your distance from other people or wear, for example, a sweatshirt over the bodysuit, it's perfectly fine.

If there is anybody familiar with such a suit, it's not, sure. But almost no one knows, hence it's ok even with such a zipper.
Here's a solution: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oCem8PQ Front zip! 😋

If you're moving among a group of people, the back seam and zipper are very noticeable, and men's t-shirts don't have that. This attracts attention and suspicion.  🤔

A man in such a leotard on the street would certainly attract attention.
I also like this kind of bodysuit, but unfortunately I don't have good experience with this material. Perhaps if it was tailored exactly to measure.
Not exactly a bodysuit but I wore a catsuit to a Halloween event once, it was a women cut venom catsuit:

It's not exactly venom as this has purple in it but I wore a venom mask with it. I walked around for hours between hundreds of people. This was the closest thing to crossdressing in public I ever did, no padding or boobs but I did wear a swimsuit underneath.

Same suit I did a bondage video with here:
