The inspector

Anyone hear ever visited a dungeon and paid for the services of a mistress?

How was your experience?
Nope.
Not I.
Long ago, but it was a good experience.

I also pro dommed for several years to help make ends meet. And I know many pros. Most are good, but be careful and do your homework. Don't just go for the looks of the Mistress, go for what experience they have. Avoid escorts and massage parlours that offer the service - they do not, for the most part, have anyone who really knows what they are doing and you could get hurt or worse. Be willing to pay a bit more for someone who is good.
Oh, and not all dungeons offer pro services. I am staff at one (Triskelion Dungeon in Montreal) and we mostly do events. Pros do rent the dungeon though for sessions.

Funny you should say that. I planned to visit one years ago before I met my wife and got a weird vibe when I spoke to her on the phone. It seemed like a cash grab and she wasn’t interested in the whole bdsm. Just the money. Kind of put me off a bit.
@"The inspector"  Does this help?  https://mistressreview.com/  I didn't look through it very much but it might be helpful.

(Still converting)
Yes, I have done - have met the same TV domme twice, and would love to have done so more, but a change in circumstances has made it difficult to get back discreetly. Found her through adultwork.com - I think profiles and reviews on there can make it clear who's into BDSM and who just offers it as an option (sort of like Vanessa has aeady mentioned). She was experienced, and knew what she was doing!

I did also visit a woman offering dominant services, but she was more of a straight-forward escort, and I didn't quite get what I was looking for - still had a great time, and would consider her again for more vanilla activities, but it's good to look into someone more BDSM specific if you want that to be your main focus. If someone doesn't offer sexual services, that's probably a good indication (but it won't always be either-or!).

Generally if they are under 30 they have very limited experience if any. In the past 10 years it's become a way for university students to make quick bucks. They are not really into the BDSM lifestyle, just the moola. When people ask me who is good to go to locally, first thing I gauge the domme on is "does she attend any events at all" and if the answer is no, then I don't recommend since they're more likely just afraid to go to an event that has actual lifestylers there because they don't want to be discovered to be a sham.
