amyll nitrate (sp??) supposed to give a head rush apparently.
But also dilates blood vessels meaning things relax and last longer... or accept things easier depending on what your target intention was.

I’m with you on this one. Very much of the mind of if your body says no to it fitting then you probably shouldn’t try any harder.
