What size rope are people using as I need to get some.
Have been thinking about:
paracord... this is about 4mm diameter
Or
Climbing cord 6mm diameter
What are people using??

I use a 4mm nylon cord. 6mm cotton rope (bought ~20 years ago) for the wrist loops.

Ahh ok, so paracord will do the job just fine then... great as it's probably the cheapest option.
I think the most reliable will be soft cotton rope, because it's not as slippery as nylon, and can be reshaped and squeezed much harder. But I did not see cotton rope on sale for many many years.
Well I've ordered some on eBay...
15m for €3.. not going to worry about the expense. ?
I usually buy in the local hardware store (Hornbach). Never bought any rope from eBay or Ali. Will check, though, I wonder if they sell the cotton rope I'm lookin for.

You can find a few types of Cotton Rope from Magical suppliers, often in many colours.
The two main types are a hollow tubular type and one with a core, both are inexpensive. These are much kinder to the skin and very pliable.
I get mine from a very good family run conjuring shop in Charing Cross Station (London UK).
