Hi, I did a quick search but couldn't really find anything.

I'm sure most of you will be aware of the steel pole frameworks used on some sites, I was just wondering if anybody else has tried to re-create there own? I was looking at maybe scaffolding bars etc but believe it could work out quite expensive? I seen this kit on ebay, thought it was a little expensive too.

Anybody have any thoughts? 😊
Steel poles or tubing is very expensive indeed.
All the brackets, nuts and bolts, rings and whatnots can cost a pretty penny. A few months ago, one of the large pizza chains, have decided to remove the kids sky tubes. All the steel tubes, posts, and brackets are to be sold as scrap.
Check your local junk man, he might have something for you.
I think Tinker D is right, scaffold poles (from a recycling yard - aluminium for preference) or maybe some shop fittings (which should be cheaper) are the best options if metal is your choice.

But why not try PVC?

[attachment=9542] - looks interesting and Emma seems to rate it. Its easy to assemble and very light too.

PVC ??
Maybe for females, but for this 200+ steel is the only way to go.
Doing a face plant in the middle of a session while bound, and gaged is not fun in my view. And of you smack your nose, you could get a bloody nose and that my friend could quite possibility kill you.

No thanks, I'll stick to steel.
Aesthetically steel looks right too, PVC wouldn't. And that's more than half the reason for using it.
Why not PVC ?

If you fill the tubes with sand, they are pretty strong 😉

No, that makes them pretty heavy. Strong is something else.

I guess, you have tried? If not - try it.

That would ruin the whole idea of portability and discreetness.

Should not be too difficult to build, should it?
