hogtie technique found in video
#1
Hi all, so today while doing some "internet research" I came across this video of this women doing a self hogtie .

pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=ph576bdab90ec23

I wanted to know if anyone has tried this before. It looks like it works very well and you'd be pretty stuck.

How do you think you would get free from this? only thing I can think is you'd have to cut the rope connecting wrists to legs

anyways hope everyone enjoys and let me know what you think.

Hi sp54321 (I'm guessing this isn't your real name Wink )

I've not seen this video before, but the technique is not a new one and I've used the same basic approach myself many, many times.

Using the wrist coils and a slip-loop (it's not actually a knot in this video) you can remain effectively bound but only so long as there is tension on the rope between your wrists and legs. Once that rope is slack escape is quite easy.

You can make the whole thing much more difficult to escape from with some minor adjustments:
  • Option 1 is to make the rope between your wrists and ankles as short as possible
    - this is the approach I use most often and is quite simple but effective. By reducing the length of rope between your ankles and wrists the slip-loop will be kept under much more tension, making escape more difficult. Unlike the girl in the video you will always be held in a proper hogtie (knees bent and arms stretched towards your feet). to escape you will really have to strain to bend your knees and work the slip-loop open.
    - always have a back-up plan (knife/scissors/friend)
  •  Option 2 is to replace the slip-loop with a noose knot
    - by tying a 'hangman's noose' in the rope coming from your ankles and feeding the wrist coils through the noose when you tighten the rope by stretching your legs it will pull closed and stay closed (even if you bend your knees)
    - escape is much more difficult and I've come very close to being properly stuck once or twice. With a lot of struggling and nimble fingers you can just about work the noose open, but it is really, really hard work and not for the inexperienced (practise it first with your hands in front and no other bondage, then practise again and again, and again...)
    - always have a back-up plan (knife/scissors/friend)
Those are my ideas and experiences - I'm sure @likera and the other forum posters will have their own ideas, tales and warnings/experiences to share.

Option 3: make yourself one of these: ice lock with ratchet, pull it tighter until there is no escape and wait for the ice to melt.

You might want to put some scissors on a table nearby in case you cant undo the wrist coil.

Does anybody have a working solution on how to reduce the wrist-loop tension? In a tight hogtie (cinch rope to knees, not to ankles) the wrist loop cuts into the skin very deeply and I'm afraid of nerve pinching and joint dislodging.

I tried this one time, and it almost worked too well.
What I did, was to add a ring to my chest coils. It sits in the small of my back.
I then tie my knees together, just above the knees. Then the ankle rope with my SRD. I then make my wrist coils in the standard way.
Now, this is how I thread my hogtie rope or in this case, a bunge cord.

I start by tieing the cord/rope to the ring. Then, I thread the cord through my thighs above the knee coil. Then on down to the ankle coils and back to the ring.
The idea is that when pulled tight, the cord will travel between your butt crack, through the legs and pull your ankles back into a hogtie.
Then back through the ring on your back and down to the SRD on your ankle tie.

As you tighten your hogtie, your bound wrist will held tight to your but, and well away from the SRD. And if you used the bungie cord like I did, then the bungie cord gets smaller as it gets streached out, lock into the SRD.
You'll have no choice but to cut it with a knife.

Sorry, I don't have any way to take pictures anymore.
Not till I find a place to move to.
( Don't ask ).

I stated before, if you use a bunge cord ( a 1 foot rope about 5/16 that streached up to 2 feet and schrinks to 1/4 inch ) will lock the SRD and it will not slip. It will have to be cut.

The main part of this hogtie is to keep your bound hands tightly to your butt.
The only real way to do that is to have the back rope, from the chest coils, run down your back, and between your butt crack. This rope also travels between your arms and also over your wrist coils and back between your palms and your butt crack. You could also make a loop or a slip knot for your wrist coils.

Loop a rope a few times around your waist, then make a cinch loop from your ankles to around that waist rope. Put your arm through and then put your wrists in the wrist loop. Adjust the cinch loop from your arm to between your wrists, pull your hogtie tight. The tension is now on your waist in stead of pulling your wrists, your wrists will be pulled tight towards the rope around your waist, which is a much more comfortable yet stricter position to be in.

I might be able to shoot some video focusing on this on sunday if it's not clear for you.

Yes, but it's not what the tight hogtie is about - bow-like tension. What you described works perfectly, you can experiment with harnesses (like what @Tinker D did), with rope routing, but the end result is: wrists are fixed to the waist, knees bound.

What I would like to achieve is: arched spine, straightened arms pulled towards the knees, bent (or not) knees. Legs can be "pre-bound" by looping ropes around ankles an thighs (knees fully bent).

The end result is very tight and very restricting position. Crawling and moving is VERY difficult. But the most serious problem is painfully squeezed wrists, because it's the weakest link in the whole construction.

One of the solutions is to move some tension to the shoulders.
