Hi Uncle.

The SHQ Forums I hold in high esteem, a place where like minded folks do the back and forth usually in a respectable manner. Every now and again an errant sort comes about and on occasion, after a tad of education, they may stick about and become a welcome asset. The place is not unlike here, a place for those with an interest outside of the "norm" to interface.

And Like Ra, give me a bit and try to garner enough neural action to find at the least a rather long story about a gal I keyed about earlier. Very little to due with self indulgences (much more in the theme of the SHQ Forums which long ago contained many more stories. As in all things progressive, things change and evolve) though the tale may hold the eyes of a few here. I would be remiss were I not to acknowledge the efforts Like Ra puts into this playground and care to express and extend my appreciation, Thank You. May my Membership Card not be revoked until my synapses erode more fully and I join the likes of Tim Leary. However, no ashes in orbit please. Have a party instead. This is like the difference between an Irish party and an Irish Wake- one less partyer. (Sorry, my lack of English does not allow for the proper spelling of one less participant at a party and Spell Check only goes so far...)

Greetings there Like Ra and All.

Geeeeze, I'm glad there is no photo hookup here as I'm blushing that's not a Sunburn. That is after I've picked myself up from the floor. Nice carpet in my Ready Room, wish there was more padding. Like Ra, you honor me with the concept. I had no idea any thought more of my prose then to think there's another 60's hold out spouting off another rant or the such. Let me ponder this invite further. After casual interfacing with one of those legal eagle types, he made mention I may care to pay attention to what I post on the Net. I grudgingly admit I am between jobs (how surprising could that be in Michigan?) and potential employers may find my associations with weird sites a possible detriment. Well, weird is as weird is and I guess it falls into who makes the determination. Is this site weird? Undoubtedly. One of the aspects that makes it cool. I've maintained for a long time in a personal philosophy that one does what they do as long as you don't make anyone else's parade wet or involve kids in adult play. Am I one to judge another's tastes? Hardly, I'll leave that up to God and crew. After all, the majority of those who might take issue with those that have proclivities bringing them here are likely satisfied with drinking Budweiser (some even think this stuff is beer!), like brain lacking blondes with big mammeries and enjoy watching football. And, like porn, who makes the decide if it is, or not. And like watching the idiot box, there is this simple ass device that does things, like change channels or perish, turns the unit off. Don't like it, don't watch or in the case of this site, don't visit. Anyway, I gained a cert as Pharmacy Tech for which I understand there is a large demand. I can't really think how an employer may view me a threat because I hang out at an off the wall but non injurious site and have a penchant for recalling the days of miniskirts before pantyhose. Hell, I'm not even one of those Democrats or Republicans and not even in between. Oops, forgot one is not supposed to talk about religion or politics but I did hear the Pope is running for President.

Okay, enough to wet the walk. Where your rubber or risk wet feet. As I keyed this, I made realization I was bereft a Martini. At some point, ask me about the nutritional values of the said drink. I encourage feedback, not about martinis but to what others think about my future keystrokes. I don't pound the keyboard like Hunter Thompson used to (he used a typewriter- I could not keep mine in economical repair, an old IBM Selectric [sp?], a real boat anchor and impossible to get parts for, at least on my budget) and I do have some of that Gonzo energy. Comments welcome and as a line from a vid a time ago, "I'll Be Back" (add the proper accent...)

Hi Like Ra.

Risking redundancy as my cyber abilities or lack are legendary, I do know enough about security that anything posted on the Net, as in this, a public Forum is (excuse the term, it is early- I got up before the crack of Noon...) an obscure site becomes part of the public domain and is readily traceable. As a for instance, a simple Google search by my name shows that among other things, I've a few music reviews at Amazon and eBay and at least one link to this Forum. And that is with a simple search. Techies tell me there are more sophisticated programs available, depending how deep one cares to go and how deep one's pockets are. I'll admit, just about any gig I'm going to get is not likely to involve National Security (aeady been there) and I have files going back to the late 60's all over the place so it would not be hard to find me as I also keep purposely a modestly high profile. Were I to say cross the border into Canada from Detroit, I would be pulled up by facial recognition as at one time, I was not allowed to leave the US nor visit Canada. Interesting tidbit: Detroit is the only place in the US one can literally enter Canada (to Windsor, Ontario) by going south. Look it up on a map. Anyway, this is just one simple program and my fingerprints, retinal prints maybe even my rectal prints are "on file" though the retinal scans are out of date due to injuries. On the other hand, any potential employer that would consider me a threat because I post here and other places or have liking for King Crimson and electric Jazz would not be a place I'd want to work at. Why make two or more people unhappy? You have probably forgotten more about computer tech stuff then I'll ever know and I certainly shall defer to you. The legal head did make the point and it is of consideration so the proper thing to do at this juncture is have a beer and think about it. Hope some of this made sense, it is waaaaaaay too early AM. Mornings, where do they come from?
