Rain fetish

There was some heavy rain yesterday night and I couldn't sleep so I decided to go out all dressed up and enjoy the rain. It was so nice feeling all wet and cold

I guess it was 2 am when the rain stopped, so I untied myself and went in. I didn't want to get undressed, but I could barely stand the coldness. Anyways, I took a quick warm shower and went to bed.

Have you ever discovered a fetish in a similar way? All by accident?

Not my cup of tea but it does give me an idea. A lot of ropes tend to expand when wet. Maybe you could experiment with a method that could use it?

Is that a good thing? I mean, if it expands then I should be able to escape right?

That's for sure.
I never had a rain fetish, per se.  However, when I was in Grade School, I looked forward to rainy days, as I got a chance to wear my rubber raincoat.  Yup, I've had a fetish since at-least the second grade.  And, I knew exactly what to do about it!   😉 😁   I also used that raincoat for a little self-bondage, when the parents weren't around.  With the front of the raincoat closed, I would wriggle into it, without putting my arms through the sleeves, so that my arms would be pinned to my sides.  I would pretend that the snap latches on the front (anyone remember those?) were locks, and that a fictitious evil woman had put me into this, and the she was now holding the keys.  Yea, at the age of 6 or 7!

However, once I got into Junior High, I discovered leather.  It as been my fetish of-choice, ever since.
I love the rain! It's a great excuse to dress up and go outside.

Last summer, we had a summer storm. I layered up several layers of neoprene and rain wear, topped it with a helmet (to prevent injuries from falling branches) and went outside. Great times!
As you say, the coldness is a thing. That's why I use several layers. And because layering is a fetish of mine, of course!
@Vincy I know, right? I specially love that wet look of any piece of clothing against the skin.

I also love layering, but I must admit that I haven't done it much lately. Mainly for practical reasons, the setup is so time consuming.

How many layers do you usually wear? and what is your record?

A recent session is posted elsewhere on this forum. This was quite a harmless session, using only two layers of plastic (Trash bags) and one of neoprene under my normal street clothing.

A few winters ago, I had a whole day for myself. It was one of those wet-just-over-the-freezing-temperature days, so layering was definitely recommended. Heavy rain and wind, so ideal hiking weather!

 I think my setup was:
-hiking synthetic base layer & hiking socks. (no fun being cold after the rain gears wets out)
-first layer of rainwear & trash bags on the feet. Latex gloves. All taped together with packing tape. No hood, so sealed in from the neck down.
-2nd layer of rainwear for some additional insulation
-neoprene shorty, keeping everything warm and compressed.
-Ear plugs, bathing cap, neoprene diving hood.  (as it rained and I would wear my hood up, I dared to wear the neoprene hood under it.
-heavy yellow PVC rainpants, rain coat. wellingtons. Black neoprene gloves.
-Hood raised, baseball cap underneath it.

I think I hiked for over three hours using this setup. Then I needed to use the toilet (peeing in my gear is not my fetish) so I needed to get out, fortunately I was within 10 minutes of my car by then.

Good session. And you, have you any similar experiences?
Edit: today I did a session which was quite similar to the experience described above.

Yes, that is one disadvantage of layering. Last time I did more than 2 layers, I remember spending like half an hour in the restroom undressing/dressing.

My experiences aren't that exciting, I rarely go 'undercover mode' with 2 layers underneath regular clothes, commonly in winter. Nothing fancy, just spandex shirts and jogging leggings enough to start feeling a little constriction.

I remember wearing 5 layers of really tight bodysuits similar to neoprene waist trainers (but with shorts included). I could barely breathe in, I stayed like that for 10 or 15 minutes and then gave up. It was fun though.
