I'm not really surprised. As you can see in the news almost daily (at least at special websites like
www.heise.de) a lot of professional miners are undertaking all the major "work" in the cryptocurrency's business, so it is not so easy to compete with a homegrown normal system against the special efforts these guys are setting.
So at the end the financial effect is minimal.
But its a nice benchmark anyway 😊

Another interesting note: MS IE is 5-6 times slower, than Firefox 😁 Most likely because it does not support WebASM (or whatever it's called).

Looks like the scripts can be tweaked a bit to make mining a bit more profitable. Coinhive takes 30%, what, in my opinion, is not fair.
