Sorry, couldn't resist!

To be fair, this is why I ask people to review all my documents and presentations - I'm famous for typos and spelling mistakes, some of which have led to hilarious unintended meanings!

🤣 Entirely possible!

I'd like to know the logic/rating behind the questions, so the test can be reproduced. So far, this is the best test I have ever seen, and I don't want to lose it.

Interesting... I need to think about it... (As I never thought about your type before 😁). BTW, if you are ENFP/IEE/"Huxley", you might find the whole subject of socionics, psychology rather interesting. Possibly, not the typology itself, ENFPs usually do not need a typology for people, they remember them and generally understand them without any typologies. They can swear by the typology, though, if it's adopted/approved/blessed by highly authoritative, well known professors (and blame all other typologies).

Quick question: do you easily remember people? Hundreds of faces from the past? Who/what they are? Their behaviour, attitude, relationships?

No - I'm terrible at names, and only a little better at faces. Some people stick and do so for decades, even if I don't see or hear from them over that time, and I recall their behaviours etc quite well. But generally if I'm not in frequent contact names and faces quickly fade.

In my defence I engage with 00's if not 000's of different people as part of my role. I'm not sure my brain's filing system has the capacity on top of all the technical/business/regulatory information I need to hold!

Crazy

I wonder if your role made that slight shift towards the ethics from ENTP/ILE to ENFP/IEE. Or your "technical/business/regulatory" stuff made you look more like ENTP (or at least, ENTP-tolerant 😂, as I'm an ENTP). In any case, you are exceptionally well trained. And the 1st main function (Extroverted Intuition) is the same for both types. It's the next function, which is different. ENTP is more technical/system/structure oriented, while ENFP is more people oriented. "T"hinking versus "F"eeling.

ENFP is much more prone to respect age/regalia. It matters more "who" said that, than "what" was said.
ENTP usually does not care about the "position" and can easily deal with anonymous counterparts.
People for ENFP are much more important, than for ENTP.

Unlike ENTP, ENFP can have multiple "relationships" with the same person simultaneously, and can behave differently with the same person, depending on the circumstances, formality of the situation, own goals, rank of the person ("respected professor" will win over "asshole", if it's the same person). And that "relationship switch" can happen almost immediately.
ENFP can easily organize people. Think of clubs, retreats, parties. ENFP absolutely NEEDS people.

Unlike ENFP, ENTP can deal with different systems, explanations of the same object/phenomena. E.g. ENFP can prove something "right" and "wrong" simultaneously.
Unlike ENFP, ENTP does not understand how to deal with people and usually either "overcommits", thinking that people should think better of him/her, or behaves like an asshole, what gives him also a permanent, stable understanding of people attitude towards him/her.

For ENFP, there should be only one system, one explanation, one definition of something.
For ENTP, there should be only one kind of relationships with or attitudes to someone.

@Like Ra What does this even mean? Taking Socionics test right now & what is up with the very specific "one vs other" but 50/50 chance? On a very general global type it may narrow me down but never on a detailed introspective way as its granularity is just too low.

Like both? Yes, im better at implementing than coming up from scratch, but i constantly have to invent solutions to complicated problems i face in IT no one else has while i need to apply them to my daily routine.

 Screenshot 2024-08-20 103239.png
i have a very vivid, sometimes confusingly limitless imagination while still living for the concrete visual information.
Again BOTH!

 Screenshot 2024-08-20 103858.png
Do i have to say it?
i tend to the second as i like leaving chances of unexpected open while technically I'll show you i only need am M3 X screwdriver to build any computer, including servers. (Excluding the case where a corporate protocol imposed another Norm specifically to avoid someone like me getting access.)

Sorry to say, but everyone needs both if they want to get the whole truth about something. it's a feedback loop.

 Screenshot 2024-08-20 104837.png
I sense it but never just believe it & push deeper getting all the reliable facts & evidence i can & then choose the one i like best.

TADA! it's like magic how test get close but can't ever nail it.

 Screenshot 2024-08-20 105936.png
Did the test again, switching choices to the opposite where i was conflicting while keeping main characteristics, ones i can't deny, the same.

I don't know Ra, i think you would be able to classify my type better than any test so far.

I would say, this is what make this test special. It makes you think. Twice. Hard. Again. Doubt.

It's never "0%" or "100%". I chose the 2nd one, because it's easier(!) for me. I do implement some of my ideas, but definitely not all, because of fears, that I might not succeed, but rather lose time and energy. Sometimes I do not quite imagine how to implement it.

The 1st one is when you prefer someone else to come up with ideas, and do not torture yourself with squeezing ideas out of yourself, when there are none.

Of course both! But the keywords are "easier", "preferably", "less boring", "more exciting". In socionic terms it's sensoric versus intuitive. Everybody knows what a cube is. But a cube made out of what? Wood? OK. Plastic? OK. Pyrite? More interesting. What about liquid water? What about flame? What about vibrations? Can you imagine a 4D cube? See what I mean?

Can you imagine, that there are people, who can not imagine anything past the nearest 2-3 days? Some people can not predict, see, imagine how events can evolve with time.

And some people only trust their impression and feelings, and some need logical confirmation. What happens more often?

Huxley and Don Quixote have the same 1st, 3d, 5th, 7th functions. They both are intuitive extraverts. However, Huxley is ethical/feeling and Don Quixote logical/thinking types.
