Possible use of certain single gloves in self bondage
#1
I eventually got a very cheap single glove that has straps attached to d-rings on the upper end of the glove. Inspired by some very narrow single gloves that come with a t-shaped strap system for the shoulders, I developped a basic method to put it on. For me with my single glove, this is perfectly safe because the glove is too short, I can pull out my arms without even releasing the straps.

Well, this is how to do it:

You need a self-tightening strap or a rope with a slip knot, a ring that is wide enough for the strap or rope to go through twice and slide easily, and a single glove similar to the model on the picture. Pull the strap/rope through the two rings that are on the side of the glove that will point to your back, make a ring that will tighten when you pull the open end. At the same time apply the ring as seen on the picture. Find a hook on the wall or something similar to attach the strap/rope end (perhaps with a ring or loop), then put on the strap like a jacket. Depending on the length of the strap, you might have to put one or both arms into the bag while doing this. Pull tight, done. The ring holds the shoulder strands in place, so it will be hard to impossible to wriggle them off.

As I said, no release method yet, I can pull my arms out when the strap/rope is pulled tight. Oh, and the slip know is quite hard to open if you tie it the way I did, the small end of the knot pointing AWAY from the loop. But you can probably pull it open somehow, on the hook or elsewhere.

Idea: Bind your hands together first, making it much harder to pull out the arms even if the bag is short. If your single glove is as tight as mine, you can tie your hands in a way that is easily undone when the arms are free. Inside the glove, you won't be able to open the tie.

The single glove on the picture is very tight and that might be quite uncomfortable after a short while (though much better than elbow straps). So if you try this out, be careful. I doubt that this type of bondage is good for as long as it takes until you manage to get help. Furthermore, such a short bag needs to be strapped on very tightly and that is better done with wide straps than with rope.

You can probably use any strong bag with rings for this. I actually wanted to try this with a very short bag that requires folded arms, but the bag wasn't wide enough ):

As a matter of fact, only the strands of the rope running from your shoulders over the chest are accessible for attaching to a hook when the rope is tightened which means, when using a long enough mono glove, it is much easier to put it on. Like Ra suggested the use of a safety-belt cutter mounted on the wall for another purpose and this might be a good emergency release here.

As I said before - rope and rings ;-) The release method can be something like the sock&ice&ring one. And the tightening can be done via the SRD.

Nice one! Japanese = square = box style. Any bag with the same width as the length between you fingers and elbow should work. Definitely something to try...

Looking at the designs of the bag part of monogloves, I wonder if it is so hard to make one out of canvas, pu-leather or similar material that could be glued instead of sewn - latex comes to my mind her as well. Soft real leather might not be an option, I think glued seams don't work well with that while the open sides definitely need to be reinforced. Both, the square and the v-shaped glove can be made out of one piece only, the critical part being top and lacing. Square glove is a simple rectangle, v-shaped glove a triangle with a curved top. I might get a package of rings to be punched in - for the lacing and attachment of the straps and try this with strong shrink wrap as used for wrapping pallets for shipping. Cheap material for tests and it might be possible to get some from a warehouse nearby - I even got some because this idea isn't new and I have been working in a warehouse for a while. Making leather straps is supposed to be easy, buckles can be attached with rivets and straps can be bought in any size. But this is not required until the bag design is well tested. And at that point, even a bag made from soft leather seems possible because it would be worth paying a tailor to make a few seams around a non-suspicious looking leather square or rectangle.

This is a long term project, don't expect more soon.
