Huh, mp4 audio only file link in the imbedded audio player with mp3 tag works fine... no big black empty video screen  😎

A full mp4 video, with audio track only via imbedded audio player with mp3 tag also works fine

Like Ra has added Vorbis ogg support for attachments, but they do not get a player automagically when inserted into the post.
To add in the player, do not "insert into post" and add the attachment link of the ogg file with the "mp3" player code in the post:
