Short history of hypnosis:

Part I https://pro.psychcentral.com/strange-new...06396.html
Part II https://pro.psychcentral.com/strange-new...06712.html

TLDR:

o- Nobody knows why/how hypnosis works
o- Hypnosis is related to altered state of consciousness
o- Hypnotic susceptibility can be trained
o- "Societal stigmas toward altered states" do affect hypnotizability

In short. The more oxytocin, the less critical, the more suggestible, the more hypnotizable we are. The more aroused we are, the more oxytocin. See the  link? Lots of erotic hypnofiles state, that masturbation enhances the effect. And no wonder, that ad campaigns are so "erotisized".

Verry interesting - I will give it a try. aehm not myself but someone I havent been able to hypnotize yet.

He wants to experience this state... and he wants to have some triggers too 😊

P.S.:  how long do I have to wait before it works?
P.P.S: Where can you buy this?

Oxytocin (nasal spray) is used to treat autism, and usually can not be bought "over the counter". Other brand names are Pitocin and Syntocinon. But ... check here: eBay: oxytocin

Aaaaand more serious (and scary)  stuff:

  • Brain imaging shows that being hypnotized to believe you are being controlled by a machine increases neural connectivity with areas that control your movements (i.e., makes it easier for other brain areas to control movement) (Deeley et al., 2014).
  • Suggestion to make us not want stuff reduces activity in areas that represent the self and value (Ludwig et al., 2013). So maybe suggestion to increase our desire will work by increasing how much we value the thing we’re lusting over.
  • Giving people real pain activates a network of brain structures associated with feeling stuff. Giving people hypnotic instructions to increase the pain intensity makes the pain worse and activates those brain regions more (Abrahamsen et al., 2010). Heh heh heh….
  • Hypnotic suggestion to increase pain works, and increases activity in a brain area that does voluntary control of our thinking (dorsolateral prefrontal cortex) (Raij, Numminen, Narvanen, Hiltunen, & Hari, 2009) suggesting that hypnosis makes us work hard to increase our own pain. Delicious.
  • Hypnosis reduces skin conductance, a measure of sympathetic nervous system activity which is associated with arousal. So um, when you hypnotize people, they relax. Cool finding - it didn't matter whether you were technically high or low hypnotizable for this to work (Kekecs et al, 2016).
  • Hypnosis to reduce pain during induced pain (e.g., a medical procedure) does seem to be effective. Multiple hypnosis sessions prior to the pain induction seems particularly helpful. (Kendrick et al, 2016)
  • Hypnotizability appears to be oxytocin-mediated - giving oxytocin to low hypnotizable males increased their hypnotic susceptibility (Bryant et al, 2012).
  • The decrease in P3b but preserved N2 ERP associated with hypnosis suggests that hypnosis is not affecting the earliest sensory processing, but rather, it is affecting what we do with that information, within 400ms - before we even know what we are doing with it.

Continuation from the hypnotic self-bondage thread.
(29 Oct 2017, 19:22 )krinlyc Wrote: My hypnotee has about 10 or so triggers - which do all work and she can't do anything against these triggers.
I'm going to continue to listen to the "old" files and add some new triggers, before trying to fight them. That's in the plan. It is aeady difficult, but I wonder how powerful it can be.

Next question is more complex and serious. How bad is it in terms of progressing in the yoga/qigong/karma/energy/tensegrity/metaphysics/whatever sense? Instead of removing unnecessary programs to keep energy, we add more. Instead of getting control over body, emotions, thoughts, we give it up. In this sense it looks like a regress. OK, some scenarios can be tweaked to avoid orgasms (a huge energy leak if ejaculation is involved). But to whom/what do we give the control over us? Egregors? Larvae? They do eat energy. While egregors may route us in the way both can benefit from, larvae simply milk the preys. Do we simply sacrifice the crown chakra (Sahasrara) in order to get some fun (the way ayauasca works)?

Or it makes the assemblage point move?

Or it depends on the content?

Hmmm... How does it work? Anybody here who can See? 😉

Okay, I try to explain what is in my mind.

Don't try to look behind hypnosis. It is in us - some can use it better than others. I think it is a gift.
Sounds tricky, but for myself it is the best way I can handle that whole hypno thing.

She wanted to have a trigger which she can fight with. I gave her/us "the wish trigger". So me or orher person can tell her a wish she has to fullfill. She can fight the wish, but I "programmed" her that at last she has to do it. And we have lots of fun with that one...

And there we have the atom of hypno. You only do things which you like to do - some of these you are aware of and some out of your subconscious mind.

The thing with triggers is - do you actively think about walking? grab your cup of coffee from the table? No, you don't. And so do work these triggers.

So these hypno thing does not eat anything - it gives you a little extra in your live if you take advantage of it.

well please be lenient with my english.....

Well, one of my ideas is about the flexibility of the reality. I'm going to make a series of posts about it (just to get rid of what's whirring in my mind 😁 ). In short, to change the reality, we need to change ourselves. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, so yes, me must want it, and we can do it by ourselves. And hypnosis is just an aid or a hand that helps us to better concentrate on the goal or the intention. The intention is a better word, because in order to change the reality (ourselves, that is) we need the Intention, the Belief (in terms of the point of view what it should look like), and the Will (to fix the reality in the intended state, and do not let it slip back).

Any attempts to change the reality without changing ourselves result in the resistance, countermeasures (Third Newton's Law) and karmic consequences. Self-hypnosis changes ourselves, so, following this theory it should work more smoothly.

However, some hypnosis files look like black magic rituals. So, still it depends on the content.

In the beginning of the thread I mentioned the energy transfer, when you submit, obey and dedicate your will (and orgasms) to a person - The Master. In this form, you voluntary "feed the vampire". I deliberately avoid the files with submission to a person or an object.

And back to egregors. Egregors (energoinformational structures, thoughtforms, mindforms) are created "automatically" together with creation of, for example, new ideas (also, ideas can be spawned by higher egregors). The more people concentrate on a particular idea, the more powerful the egregor gets, the easier it can steer people in the direction it wants (e.g. to get more people involved to get more energy). Think of religions, countries, governments or companies- very powerful and aggressive egregors. Other examples are crowds (think of crowd psychology), insect colonies (e.g. ants), swarms, packs, flocks, etc. There is also the egregor of this site, and technically I'm the creator of this egregor 😊

The more people listen to or concentrate on a particular scenario or a hypno file, the more powerful the egregor of this file becomes, the more effectively the hypnosis works. That's how mantras work. The most powerful mantra "Om" is the most practised one by the most creatures in the worlds.

I'm sorry if it gets too metaphysical. Ignore it, I'm just thinking out loud 😉
