Frogtied, spread, dressed in my new Swimsuit: escape attempt

Some of you might have seen the preview, but here is the full video.

I frogtied myself, used a pvc tube as spreader bar, then tied my wrists together and tethered them to an ice lock attached to the spreader bar.

This was very restrictive, I could not move at all. I planned on struggling a lot but I could not even turn myself over or move around a bit. I did manage to reach one of the knots so escape was possible but I had to really work for it. Next time I'll try to restrict my arms and hands a bit more...

I love the tie and how you've captured the very essence of a real self-bondage session!

I especially loved the way that once you where all tied up you started to try and free yourself - why do we do that? 


We spend hours/days/weeks planning the perfect inescapable self-bondage and as soon as we are in it we then do our very best to escape!

Are we testing the bondage? Or are we really not self-bondage fans at all, but really we have a fetish for escapology?

We want to be inescapably tied, it's no fun just being in ropes knowing you can get out anytime. Of course we only know it's inescapable if we can't free ourselves and to be sure we need to try our very best to get out. The struggle itself is arousing but the feeling when you realize you can't get free and have to wait for the release is the grand prize. This feeling is is rare, the quest to feel it is long and hard, it takes a lot of practice and repetition to get a glimpse of it and truly experiencing is a very rare privilege indeed. We pursue this our entire lives, we elevate self-bondage to an art form, we think of it day and night, live it, practice it with conviction. We rage when a long planned scenario fails, when the bounds are not secure enough, when a release was reached to soon, when that loop of rope just won't tighten the way it should... We are mad because of the anticipation not answered, because the window for the session is closed and we must return to the life in daylight, but we scheme and dream and one day everything will align just right and we will be stuck, inescapable but comfortable tied by our own master craftsman hands, straining against the ropes, once more trying to find some slack and break free but hallelujah, we are stuck. Now there is nothing more to do than to wait for the release, to let our mind wander in the void, there is nothing to occupy our thoughts, nothing to stress over, nothing that must be done now because we can not do it. We are stuck. There are no choices left to make, no "ifs" and "buts", noting matters as we are incapable of dealing with it now, not able to do anything now. By being restrained we are truly free.

By using the lock this way it actually works better, even if I manage to take it apart it will still hold, only melt a bit faster. Another plus is that the distance is shorter allowing the bondage to be more restraining.

Ok, I’m a bit confused on your ice lock.
I see a tube with only two rings, one on each end of the tube.
I also see that you used the ring on only one end of the ice lock and there is nothing on the other end.
So..... What am I missing ???

This ice lock has two rings, one is attached to the string that is frozen in place in the lock, the other is attached to the lock itself. When I made it it was meant to be used as you said, one end attached to something rigid, the other end to something that must be released when the ice has thawed. However after a few uses it was possible to pull the lock apart when I pulled really hard. Now I thread the release end trough a metal ring, the lock itself wont fit, so as long as there is a little ice on the piece of rope it wont release.

So like this:

1. make sure there is a ring big enough for the release but to small for the lock itself

   

2. put the release part of the lock trough the ring

   

3. secure yourself to the release ring

   

Now there will be no release as long as there is some ice left on the release rope. If I manage to reach the ice lock I might be able to take it apart but that will just leave me with a block of ice that wont slip trough the lid of the lock so I'll still be stuck.

An added advantage is that this reduces the distance by the length of the lock, if I were to use the two rings then there is an additional 12cm of slack.

If I should ever make an ice lock again it will be just a container and a single ring so then there is no confusion 😉
