I’ve been stirred from my recent lethargy. I have the builders in at home so I thought I’d have a few days away. So there I was in a pub in West London when a troupe of women came in promoting a circus, in fact ‘The UK’s Most Glamorous Circus’. And they weren’t kidding, they were dressed in leotards, tan fishnets over (matte 😟 ) dance tights with black riding boots, short jackets, heavy make-up and plumed headpieces!

I took a promotional flyer off of this one of them even though I said wouldn’t be in the area for their shows but surprise, surprise, in June they’re visiting a town only about ten miles from me! I’ve looked them up on the webs and they get rave reviews, the only downside I could see is that they don’t always wear shiny dance tights. So here are a few pics of the lovelies of ‘Giffords Circus’.

Almost a reason to go back to the circus when they visit, almost....

Clowns rate even higher than Nuns in my scary characters list - no way I'd risk a circus visit when a troupe of those horrors could suddenly appear!
