Maybe you saw some Chinese challenge passing on your socials. Using zip-ties they bind themselves and try to escape. The back-up safety used is a food order, home delivered at a certain time (and hope the delivery boy wants to cut them free).
So I made my own version of it.
As far as I know, some zip ties can't be broken by manual force. So I took the biggest I had and used those. Because I 'm pretty sure they can't be broken I cut some pieces of rope (you can melt the zip-ties with friction created with the rope) and put them on my bed. Because of the place I live, can't have food delivery (entry to the complex requires the push of a button I surely cannot reach when bound) so for back-up release I had a wire cutter on the floor in my bathroom.
For funsies of course a plug, a very strict gag from silencilicone (awesome stuff) and wearing a leotard.
So I take the ties, prepare the rope go to my room and tie myself up. Closing the ties around my hands (on my back) was a hassle, but I managed after a couple of minutes. Finally I linked my feet with my hands with some more ties, at least that was the idea. Sadly enough I'm not nimble enough to do that, but still I was bound pretty hard (and that's part of the fun, although a proper hogtie would have been more fun).
I start wriggling towards the ropes and it hits me... how on earth will I be able to cut through the ties with my hands bound pretty hard together with almost no room to wriggle my hands... Silly me... After some time, thinking, wriggling,... I can manage to get the rope through the zip-tie of my hands, hold it by one hand and have the other end of the rope in my mouth and I start making a back and forth motion with my hand and head. It goes well for some time (sorry no clue how much time passed in reality) and suddenly... you guessed it maybe... the rope breaks. Lucky for me, I had several more pieces of rope and I managed to combine 3 of them, get them through teh zip-tie and into my mouth. More rocking back and forward and yes, it worked suddenly my hands were free.
Out of my curiosity and because I realised how dumb I was, I tied my hands together again and tried to free myself with the wire cutter. And now I can tell you, I wasn't able to manipulate the wire cutter in a good enough position and put enough force on it to go through the zip-ties. The back-up escape plan was no plan at all... I had to resort to the ropes again.
I was an adventurous couple of hours (2,5 in total) and I learned (yet again) how stupid I can be.
Have fun, don't be dumb
