That's essentially what it is. It's just smoothed and polished.

While looking around for these, I found that the creator had uploaded some prototypes to a 3D printing website. None of them looked as functional as the final product, though. I really want to give one of these a go, but like you said, way too expensive. It's hard to find a full containment chastity device like this that still allows bathroom use that isn't ball-crushingly small like the things you find on eBay and AliExpress.
