RE: Site performance, Server errors, outages and tunings - Like Ra - 15 Apr 2018 This is the longest thread - 1,000 messages! RE: Site performance, Server errors, outages and tunings - Like Ra - 03 May 2018 The operating system has been upgraded to the latest version - 18.04. RE: Erection of the day - Poorwhitetrash - 16 May 2018 LikeRa...I have come several times lately, and on a Page where a YouTube video is, the Browser shows Youtube cucling and cycling trying to Link to YouTube, and finally my Computer Freezes, & I have to Reboot. I tried Firefox Help, Ubuntu Help, it seems I do not now how to frame my problem. If I open a Forum where a Video is, ir starts Cycling in the Left Corner Fifefox ....until it eats up a ll my memoty. I am running a olf ThinkPad X201. I miss coming here. There is this sam e problem with sites like CDnet, TECHcrunch, any Edw Pahe with Embred Videos. I think it id Jaza Script but I HAVE NOT ENABLED DRM....perhaps tahat is problem? Soory for wawful typeing My EYES HURY HURTING. RE: Site performance, Server errors, outages and tunings - Like Ra - 16 May 2018 I never had to enable DRM on my computers, but you can try. You can also try Chrome. RE: Site performance, Server errors, outages and tunings - Like Ra - 21 May 2018 We've got a free upgrade to 160GB storage space (from 90) and 5TB traffic (from 4TB). I'm going to split 160GB in two 80GB parts and use one of them for backup. The question is about the best way to make backups/restores. I do not want mirroring. OTOH, it might make no sense, because both "disks" most likely are located within one file... And it's better to use one big 160GB partition and make backups to my home computer, as I do now. Thoughts? RE: Site performance, Server errors, outages and tunings - Anne - 24 May 2018 Backing up to the same machine is no backup so backups to your home computer is better. RE: Site performance, Server errors, outages and tunings - Like Ra - 24 May 2018 Yes, exactly. What means we have 160GB of disk space now š RE: Site performance, Server errors, outages and tunings - Like Ra - 09 Jul 2018 The following has been upgraded: o- The forum siftware o- ThankYou plugin (The TY alerts are reset) o- View Unread posts plugin As always a lot of bugs were fixed, but possibly new bugs were introduced (I hope they are not too annoying š ) RE: Site performance, Server errors, outages and tunings - Like Ra - 09 Jul 2018 Yeeaaahhh!!! The latest upgrade fixed some nasty bugs! The Game section is back! And I see the statistics graphs in the Admin panel! Both were broken for at least half a year. My fix (the bug reported by @MadJack) is also incorporated into this version. RE: Site performance, Server errors, outages and tunings - madjack - 18 Jul 2018 Ahhhhā¦. I may have found a new bug in the latest software When using Private Messages the screen 'tiles' all seem to go wrong when you open up 'more' of the emoticons - see image below: Although I can still type a message and select an emoticon I can't scroll up/down to access any of the Preview/Send/Save buttonsĀ Suspect its just a screen layout issue, but..... ?
