Improvisation on the same theme:
You can't tie legs this way in self-bondage, though. What can be done is to connect the ankle rope with the wrist rope through the ice-locks and a rope ratchet. You will need a pulley or a hook in the wall or bound to a pillar.
Or tie a metal ring to the pillar/wall through the ice-lock. Then thread the "rachetted" rope through the ring and connected one end to your the wrist cinch noose, another to the ankles. Crawl to the knife, when the ice-lock allows you to.

Ok, here is how it's done.
Looking at the photo Ra provided.
You will need to to tie a loop of rope around the pole at the knee level and ankle level. The third loop will be higher for the wrist ropes. This loop has the SRD and ice lock.
Got that so far?
Next, a length of rope needs to go between each loop and the pole. One for the bottom loop and one for the center loop.
The top loop, with the SRD will have the cinch noose.
Still with me? Good, here we go.
Tie your ankles together. Now, tie your knees together.
Get your wrist coils ready. For extra fun, set your enema, vibrator, plugs and clips.
Lay on your belly, fold your legs.
Reach behind you and bring the bottom loop rope and thread it between your legs so one rope is above the knee tie and the other is below the knee tie.
Tie the two ends into a tight slip knot.
Now, do the same thing with the center loop for the ankle tie.
Make sure that the free end of both the ankle rope and knee rope are within reach of your hands.
And the fun begins....
Set your timers for the enema, plugs and vibrators.
Pull tight tha knee rope to bring your knees tightly to the pole.
Pull tight the ankle rope to bring your ankles tightly to the pole.
Now get your wrist ropes with the SRD noose and put your wrists in the the wrist coils. Pull on the free end of the SRD rope and tighten.
If you did it right, you'll look like the girl in the photo, except for the enema hose slowly filling you, drop by drop by drop.
Your release will be the knife that falls beside you when your time is up.
And that's how it can be done.

I like it, especially the enema part 😋
As for release I would use the ice-lock between the SRD and the pole. And the knife should be very close, for example, tied to the crotch rope, who knows how far you can reach bound like this...

Yes, the ice release needs to be between the SRD and the pole.
But the release knife must connected to the waist by belt.
More to the back of your waist.
In this way, when the ice lock releases your cinch noose, you can grab the knife rope, dreg the knife to you, cut your bonds and head to the can.
And if you don't make it????
