No-no-no, it's not the Black Forest (though, there are several Black Forests in Germany). You can't even drive there. It's located in the Berchtesgaden National Park. First you have to get to the far end of Königsee by an electric boat, then walk to Obersee.
Actually, the forest around Obersee does not look medieval or evil at all. Rather fairy-tailish. But definitely primeval. |
