Apparently in Part I I made a correct assumption, that latex will eventually make its way into the ordinary vanilla life. Latex can be worn with fur and it’s even being “promoted” as children’s clothing (see this post). Yes, yes, it’s said with a tongue firmly in my cheek, but again and again – you never know.

Look at the pictures below. Would you like to see such a receptionist? Latex, mini skirt, fishnets, high heels but still within the business dress code ;-)

+ “pony-girl boots” by Antonio Berardi (horseshoes are definitely missing here).

As I wrote in Mahret’s diary the fashion industry is out of fresh ideas, the amount of fashion houses is shrinking, even Russian people (the crisis is everywhere) begin to spend less on fashion items. Practicality, durability and good price/quality ratio vs. epatage, the latest crazy priced ultra fashionable stuff, big labels and shiny glamour magazines. The first easily wins, what makes the not-happy Big Fashion Names invent something (though, not revolutionary) “new” every season.

What can be less practical than a latex catsuit? Probably those heel-less fetish-comics-like pony-girl boots (Victoria Beckham was spotted wearing them). On the other hand, the designers managed to keep latex and fur in natural harmony and create a jaw-dropping utterly fetish and at the same time nearly perfect looking and tranquil (strange combination of extremely sexual latex and tranquility, isn’t it?) … style(?) image(?)

And yes, please more such clothes to the streets ;-)

what are the ultimate shiny sheer pantyhose? Yes, the transparent latex ones. But the latter brings (apart from the price, etc) one big problem – air bubbles. Have you ever tried to squeeze out the bubbles from underneath of thin transparent latex? I have… It took me about an hour and I failed miserably.

Have a look at this post. The Rolatex photo shows NO bubbles, while the photo made by Simon O features “The Unsqueezables”. Did Rolatex use Photoshop to remove the air?

Just found this picture on the Internet. What is she wearing? Lycra catsuit? Latex catsuit? Wetlook lycra pantyhose with a PVC top? Does anybody have a hi-rez photo?

Looking at the current fashion shows I wonder when latex will make its way into the everyday wardrobe and office clothes.

Unlike many fashion creations The pictures below look pretty normal (ordinary? usual? nothing pervy? classic?) to me. Classic suit, classic mini skirt, classic high heels, classic white shirt, classic tie, classic ponytail. Probably it’s the lycra gloves what makes the images stand out of normal Russian clothing style?

As many of “us fetishists” I have quite a collection of photos and drawings downloaded from all over the Internet. I mentioned already that I like drawings more than photos. But sometimes you can find similarities between them. Not in pure terms like subject, pose, materials, bondage, etc, but in the feelings or associations they produce.

As an example: Masakazu Shimizu‘s drawing vs Patrick Andraste‘s photo. Despite a bit different “set up” (armbinder vs handcuffs) you get the same mixed feelings of fully enclosed in latex, inescapably bound yet absolutely free to go anywhere!

Can we see more latex catsuits in advertisement campaigns, please? The one on the left is made for CIF.

Textured latex suit worn over lycra zentai. Sounds impressive, does not it? But I would say a bit less impressive than “purple semitransparent latex mummy bag with built in hood”, or “leotard lined purple catsuit with straight-jacket capabilities” (see Approach No1).

But please note the time you spend staring at this or that photo. Can the time be considered a good “personal criteria”?
