I did not win the transparent latex briefs – the only piece of clothes of my size from the what’s left from the Simon O auction on eBay :-( BTW, did anybody buy anything?

OK, meanwhile new things. What’s worth mentioning is men’s chlorinated(!) thin latex tights, unique latex stockings with back seam made out of sparkling transparent latex, women’s transparent latex slip and garter belt.

Sometimes it begins with a musical phrase heard on the radio or in a shopping centre, with a movie trailer or with a single photo from an advertisement campaign. But “it” “catches” you and you begin to ask around or search the Internet trying to find who it was. The singer, the actor or the photographer.

It was exactly one of these cases – I spotted the drawing (on the left) on one of the *chans. And that was enough to start the investigation. Fortunately, “the barcode” was not removed what greatly simplified the process.

Yes, you read that right. Victoria’s Secret came up with undergarment (a sort long-sleeved body with corset and back seamed stockings) made out of transparent printed latex and showed this outfit on the latest fashion show (Spring/Summer or VS Lingerie 2009?)

Is one red latex item enough to make a catchy fetish photo? On this photo ( “Latex stockings, high heels or red and black again” ) we saw only stockings, now only gloves.

(What a perfect minimalism, by the way…)

Tight latex will not allow you to indulge fast food. You simply can’t eat “more than just a bit” when your stomach is compressed with rubber and corsets, your skin pores are glued shut by latex. I know, I tried.

We can’t stop buying pantyhose. This is what we bought (for me, my wife and my daughter) during our last couple of vacations. As you can see, we paid the full price for only a couple.

What surprised me is a very poor choice of pantyhose in France. I saw only 3 brands: DIM, Le Bourget and Well. We haven’t been to Paris this time, but I expected to see more in big cities and big warehouses. The prices were also much higher than expected. BTW, the price difference for the same brand (e.g. DIM) can be up to two times. Checked in Auchan and a big shop in Amiens. Typical “supermarket pantyhose” cost around 5€, while you can find comparable models in Germany for less than 2.50€. Also, sheer to waist pantyhose are extremely rare in France.

The myth that France is the land of fine hosiery has been finally busted. The pantyhose land is still Germany.

As you may know I was on vacation for two weeks. With no access to the Internet. I’ve pretty much caught up with the “usual activity”, mail, posts, tasks, life, etc, but I’ve still got some unanswered mail. Please let me know if I missed anything or did not respond.
