It was sunny today. Not very warm, 15°C, but the bright sun compensated the chilly wind. The time of the mixed clothes. At the same time you can see people in winter clothes and in shorts and t-shirts.

What I like about this season is it’s the time when girls begin to switch to short skirts and thin sheer pantyhose. But for some reason the centre of Utrecht was full of short evening dresses, “sparkling” skirts, high heels, shiny or sheer black pantyhose. One of the events took place in the Schouwburg.

I did not have any particular plans for selfbondage, I was just going to play in a shower and make a simple photo session in the shower. Swimsuits, latex hoods and pantyhose encasement. So I did not bring ropes or cuffs, and following the sudden change of the mood had to improvize.

Let’s recap. Shiny pantyhose on legs and arms, black fishnets (Oroblu “Tricot”), Speedo water-polo swimsuit, condom hood, rubber gag, lycra cycle shorts worn as a single-glove.

What: Handcrafted Irish 8 leg- and handcuffs with a Hamburg style lock, made by KUB of nickel-plated brass. New and include one key.

These cuffs include a Hamburg Locking mechanism. The Hamburg-style key is not a standard handcuff key and will only work with this lock. They can be bought in different sizes

Why: They are heavy (1.5 lb) but comfortable and look like jewellery. Imagine them worn with an evening dress. Also, they resemble a metal rope comfortably and inescapably embracing wrists and ankles.

Not sure if such handcuffs can be used for self-bondage (no problems with legcuffs, of course). Probably if the key is clamped in a vice?

I very rarely pay full price for pantyhose. Usually we go directly to the “sale” stands which always exist in the big warehouses. This is what I bought a couple days ago in Kaufhof and Karstadt (see the photo). As an example: beautiful Falke pantyhose discounted from €22 to €3!

In this case almost all nylons went to my wife and daughter. And here’s a question. In our family 3 persons wear pantyhose, we all have three different sizes, but the brands/styles/colours are sometimes are exactly the same, what leads to size confusion. Unless there are built-in labels (Wolford), you can’t determine the owner of tights (after washing, for example) until you try them on.

Guessed the question? How do you label the hose to avoid the confusion? Permanent markers? Textile labels?

I was on one of the business trips when you’ve got no place to go, nothing to do, no toys to play with, no book to read, just free access to MySpace.

This is what I found. A girls who is obsessed with sheer shiny pantyhose and wear them everywhere, a couple of candids and a couple of wetlook pics.

Nice web ad campaign. You can indeed buy these pantyhose at the webshop.

But despite I do like the look (I love back seams and non-reinforced toes), I would buy neither these pantyhose nor the peacock ones (see more photos below) because of the “one size fits all”, no lycra/elasthan, saggy fit and very high price. Look elsewhere.

A nice addition to the single-glove discussion started here.

This glove (can be found here, or in this shop) has laces instead of a zipper. What is much better because it can be easily tightened (by pulling the laces) and possibly (needs testing!) taken off by pulling the sides apart, by cutting the laces (easily replaceable) or … as I said, needs testing. Not sure if the leg straps can be useful.

What is it? Pantyhose world? Pantyhose tentacles? Pantyhose stalactites? Pantyhose trap for those who’s walking on top of the nylon ceiling?

I once had a dream of being caught in such a trap. Imagine a tight nylon surface with built in pantyhose in the centre. And you slide down in these pantyhose (with your hands bound behind your back, of course) and hang in them helplessly like in a huge spider web.
