Spending the vacation week together with my relatives.

It’s sunny here. I always have the most shiny pantyhose on (Oroblu Style, Jovanda Breeze and Crystal, etc) . The relatives did notice (of course), but do not show any interest or concerns. And I think it’s good. It’s up to me to decide what I’m going to wear.

The complete list:

• Jovanda Breeze 12, Jovanda Crystal 17, Oroblu Chic 9, Oroblu Geo 8, Oroblu Style 15 with breeches or bridges
• Wolford Le 9, Glamour Caribe 8 with shorts, slippers and no socks

Simple. If it’s too warm or hot my legs are sweaty, sticky and irritated. No such problems if I have proper pantyhose on.

Currently wearing Ibici Indescreet 15. Bought them ~10 years ago. Still good :-)

I don’t know … You tell me if my day was good or bad:

• I was wearing an orange t-shirt, blue capri jeans, Oroblu Geo 8 (I think) suntan pantyhose, dark grey blueish sport shoes and “secret” blue socks
• Wow! The Geo 8 has beautiful pearl shine under direct sunlight! And it was a very sunny day!
• Pantyhose sale in De Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. Bought a pair of Wolford Le 9.
• A man (~26, with a girlfriend) wearing long black skirt (he was also very interested in the PH sale) bought two packs of pantyhose. [read more...]

Interesting thing. When it’s cold, I don’t wear pantyhose (unless it’s really cold). But now when the temperature is back to 17-25, I’m almost always wearing them:

• Invisible 8-12 den (suntan) pantyhose with capri to the office, courses, friends
• Shiny 9-17 den (suntan) with breeches, capri to shops, walking, friends
• Shiny 15-20 den (blue, black, dark brown, rarely fishnet) with normal jeans with or without socks everywhere
• any 8-40 den (suntan) with shorts at home
• usually laddered 9-15den nightly

Two months ago actually. In Karstadt in Frankfurt. Very tight. Zipper. Flat seams. Slightly shimmering. 20% elastane. VERY comfortable, despite it’s a couple of sizes smaller. Zipping up is a bit difficult, though.

Since this disappointment I always look for more confirmations. I read about using latex leggings in the ballet called “American mixture” on 3xl‘s site a couple of weeks ago but only today I managed to find this article on Jyllands-Posten. The author also mentions latex :-)

I can’t believe it… It works. Catwalks, fashion shows, advertisement campaigns and all that crap I have never considered indeed works. What am I talking about? Fashionable vs practical.
With some exceptions (military, sport or work clothes) fashion is not supposed to be practical. Some of the most often used fashion items can be proclaimed as dangerous. Yes, you guessed correctly, I’m talking about high heels. More examples? Narrow pencil or hobble skirts, long nails, nylon clothes (nylon burns very fast). What next? Yes, you guessed correctly again. Latex.
