Fashion trends or men in pantyhose and … something on their heads…

Fashion men in pantyhoseUpdated on Jun 15, 2010 @ 03:45:
The author of this collection, a German designer Peter Holzinger from Superated, told in an interview that he considers pantyhose as a usual piece of unisex clothes. The first “men in pantyhose” fashion look I find acceptable.

Added hi-rez photos by Christian Leitner.

Aaaaand another step forward! Almost normal clothes for men. Breeches/capri with pantyhose. Just like my style.

But what is that nylon bag on their heads for? To protect whom from what? To protect the wearers from dust, as 40den suggested? Reference to bondage, fetish or zentai? But I do not find the bags aesthetically attractive. Just for the sake of dubious art? Or to prevent cockroaches from escaping their heads, as Dr. Glock reckons?

Does anybody knows the author?

    That leaves me absolutely cold

What in particular? My point was: normal (ok, almost normal) clothes for men featuring tights.

Look, for example, at the man in black pantyhose (not shiny, though, but black). Nothing very fetishy, but pretty suitable for wearing in public.

But I can’t say I like what they are wearing 😉

That leaves me absolutely cold I’m afraid.

That said, I’m sure some of the stuff I’ve posted does the same to others. It’s just the way of things…

  3. Around the 80s of last century, Mathieu Carriere was promoting tights for a German manufacturer and he seemed to like wearing them too. They actually suited him well.

It was the time, when it was hip to talk about BDSM, latex, homosexualism and cross-dressing, but he, being a very extreme actor, was still special. Didn’t help much though. The concept of tights for men vanished together with his popularity.
