Unlike Germany, in The Netherlands Tanzmarie is more a kids costume. The Dutch philosophy is a bit different. Choreography is, say, less sophisticated, the discipline is pretty much non-existent, less requirements and more participation.
If a kid wants to be dressed pretty and “participate” – sure, go for it. It does not matter what you can do, it’s the mood and willingness what counts. Parents love their kids regardless their talents, right? Especially if they are happy and look cute. (No. I do not think that everybody will be pleased with the performance).
