Stumbled upon on eBay. Long and tight metallic lycra dress. Take II

What: zentai-like metallic coated lycra version of this latex dress but longer and with attached gloves (as an option).

Where: the item itself, the shop (click this link should the item expire).

Why: See the reasons, description, possible use and thoughts behind in this post

Some differences:

  • The length is better from both the look and bondage points of view
  • The dress is made out of coated lycra, what is suitable for those who are allergic to latex
  • Cheaper than latex
  • Additional very sexy and fetishy option: built in gloves.

  1. Have this dress, and it is very good, very sexy. Didn’t buy from that ebay seller, but another (think there are a whack, but mine was cheaper total and quality was still very good though after 2 years have to repair zipper). Also have in metallic red (though the red faded REAL fast sadly, even with proper washing)

  2. I bought from this ebay seller and the zipper did not go all the way to the ankle. Instead it had a big slit as large as shown in the picture. I’ll have to permanently sew that closed myself; not gonna ship it back to China.

Oh, crap… Very unexpected… I usually ask sellers about all possible things, but this question even did not come to my mind. I bet they can use zippers of any length, but you have to ask for it…

Any chances to place another zipper (from knees down to ankles, NOT to replace the existing one)? That would be a better solution, I think.

  4. It’s a little tight at the neck and on the hands, but that’s probably because a woman would be slimmer there. I think it’s true to the sizing listed on the eBay page; I’d probably order a size up if I had the choice. I didn’t want to order too large and have it overly loose so I was conservative.

You could definitely place a zipper at the bottom if you know how. I have never done so myself.

I’m not sure how to comment on the material. It’s what I expect from chinese zentai. Shiny and stretchy but does not look like latex/rubber at all.

Good time to try it 😉 Since you are going to sew it close anyway. The zipper should be the same type as the one used for, say, jackets. With no permanently connected ends.

The Chinese sizing is indeed weird. Far from the real life. The EU sizes are not much better, though, but you have a choice between mens and womens sizes ( I use womens size).

Absolutely, the only material which indeed looks like rubber is the one used for “latex” leggings.
