Fashion trends 2009

A week ago TieUpTime sent me a link to the 2009 footwear collection. After the first 2min video appeared the second, then the third and so on. What I noticed is lots of high heels, visible (colourful, shiny, glittering, layers, black transparent, etc) pantyhose (like in the 80′s), tight bodysuits and leotards (sometimes worn without a skirt – just a leotard and pantyhose), leather (leather boots, leather leotards, leather trousers, leather stockings) and I think I spotted some latex (latex stockings and latex leggings, probably I confused them with latex-like wetlook lycra, though).

Are we indeed going back to the 80′s with their aerobic style but in a more refined way? If you check women’s clothes departments you will notice that tight elasthan/lycra t-shirts fully replaced the cotton ones. The baggy rags disappeared. Skirts are getting shorter and shorts are more often to be seen.

Anyway, at least pantyhose are back to the street view!
