Welp, here ya go. As per your requests...This is a work in progress. It's been on my drawing board for 3 weeks. I get 5 or 10 minutes to work on it, a couple of days a week.

I have a whole scenario written up. It's turning into a big series of drawings.

Anyways.. I hope it's not a 'spoiler-alert' for anyone.

The first attempt, the legs were crazy long. I still hate the legs, so I'm messing around in photoshop trying to fix it.
So far, my 'shoop' skills are severely lacking, but it's a learning experience.

Maybe ll post some more of my follies after this, but I'll wait to see how it goes.

X-Men's Kitty Pryde, Rogue, and Jean Grey are waiting to participate in a Danger Room session arranged by Emma Frost, the gear she has them wear gives the trio the obvious hint that this will be one of those 'special' sessions that wouldn't really need to exercise their mutant abilities and just enjoy whatever foolishness that they will be put through. But unbeknownst to the three gals, Emma has been subdued by an unknown interloper who is in the process of changing the Danger Room's scenario to possibly more ominous settings, and the trussed trio presently unaware that all involved are now in a perilous situation...

Roll Casket tests out a tapeboy experiment, but since it suddenly stopped working halfway through the process she's trying to remember what the 'E1' error is supposed to be.

[chapter 1]

A commission for !

Serenity Wheeler and Mai Valentine prepare a special birthday gift for Yugi, even if Tea has some reservations about whether or not she has a say in this...

The End of a Dynasty.
All good things must come to an end.

Yesterday, I had to 'put to sleep' my white German Shepard mix, Gwendoline.

Gwendoline was the daughter of Sundog, who was the son of Dooby-dog.
I've owned white Shepard mixes for a really long time. Like, a lifetime, it seems.

Gwendoline was the last of the family line.

Back when she was a puppy, she would get herself all tied up in her leash, or whatever string or rope she would find. It was odd. If I left her alone for a few minutes, I'd find her all wrapped up in something.
And what with John Willie being my favorite artist and all, the name seemed perfect.

She had a good life. She was a beautiful dog, a real head turner when riding around in the car. She was always a happy dog. She was great with kids, and other dogs and just about everyone.
She loved hanging her head out the car window, even at 75 MPH, which I didn't allow, but if the window was open, she'd have her head out. Torrential Rain be damned! (Her grandmother and father were the same.)
She enjoyed the dog park. Her favorite thing to do was to chase the little ankle biter dogs on the other side of the fence, in the 'small dog' area.
Those little yapping things loved to torment her. She'd spend the entire day barking back at them and running along the fence with them, if she could.
Another thing she liked to do was chase this little remote control monster truck toy I have. She'd think it was alive and want to rip it's tires off. Oh, the fun we had with that.

Anyways, the past year or so, she's been going downhill. Her eyesight was poor, her hearing was almost gone.
She had this fear of thunderstorms since she was about 5 years old. They terrified her. I have no clue why it happened at 5 years old, but for 2 days before a big storm, she knew it was coming. She'd pace around the house for 2 days, non-stop, wouldn't eat, wouldn't sleep... it was a real challenge to get her to eat anything.
So that was always 'fun'. I got her a "Thundershirt" which actually worked to some extent, keeping her calm. She'd sleep some and eat a little with the vest on.
Once the storm arrived, she was a lot better, (unless there was some big thunder.)

Gwendoline was always a high maintenance dog, at least to me. She needed special food that cost a fortune. The gf was always taking her to the vet for one thing or another. But she was a good dog.
She just turned 15 the other day. Her hips were shot, she had some sort of cancer that was affecting her nervous system, and her over all condition wasn't great.
The new puppy I have here actually got her going. He would torment her, and she'd chase his ass around a little. She seemed a bit happier knowing she could still defend herself. She wasn't running around like a puppy, but she was moving a lot better.
But it was only for a little while.
It was her time, keeping her around any longer would just be a heartbreak.

I actually dug the hole a few days ago, between work and life. Whenever the sun was out and the temps NOT around 5 degrees, I'd dig some more.

This time, I picked a much less rocky spot to dig, but there were still rocks.

She was laid out on her "puppy" blanket, the blanket that Harley dog gave birth to her on.
I was pissed way back, when the gf used that blanket for the whelping box. But 15 years later, it seemed like the perfect thing to lay her in. She had her favorite toys and a bone she still liked to carry around.

I'm thinking back when Gwen was just a little puppy, she ran across the busy highway in front of my house. Harley dog, her mother, was wearing one of those underground fence collars and knew NOT to go near the road.
But it was her puppy running away. I was going after Gwen, and told Harley to stay. I guess her maternal instinct took over. After I crossed the road, Harley darted across the fence, got zapped, and ran into traffic and then got slammed right in front of me by a car.
The Douche-bag driving the car looked right at her and never touched his brakes.
(I'd swear it was intentional. What an asshole!)
She died in my arms. Then I had to leave her to go chase after Gwendoline.

So... that day really... sucked.

Then it poured rain while I buried Harley-dog. It came down in Buckets while I was digging in the cold.

Ahhh, memories.

They say death comes in 3's. This has been my month for it.

(Hey, nobody lives forever, if they did, this would be one really crowded world.)

Still, I'll miss her.

Rest in Peace Gwen.

"Discipline is a crucial element. Don't refer to it as 'punishment,' because that says the slave can avoid it by behaving well. Not true...this is going to happen no matter what. I've had this trusty whip for years, and still works GREAT. I'll also use a riding crop or a cattle prod on occasion. Try to avoid anything, um, 'permanent' unless you really need to..."
