This commission is a mixture of my scout and babysitter series.

  Today we learn a little more about Major Gazongas and get a glimpse into some of her abilities.

  It also marks the Season Finale of this round of G.A.G.G.S., so you'll have to wait till later to find out if she becomes an official member.

  I have one more strip written that I may post that was meant as a follow up to the first round of strips.  

  There will be a new set of G.A.G.G.S. in my next book... and perhaps after that, I may try my hand at an entire book of the strip.

  With Victoria back at her assistant post (and still undergoing training) the girls of G.A.G.G.S. are beginning to interview for new members.  I originally had ideas for almost a dozen different interviews, each with it's own new character.  I still plan for it to be a running theme throughout future iterations.

  But yesterday, I said something MAJOR was coming... and here she is, Major Gazongas!  Tomorrow we delve a little further into the character in what will be the Season Finale of this installment of G.A.G.G.S. (But there may be a bonus strip in a few days... one that didn't make the book... and a few drawings of the characters will follow.)

Say!  Who's that handsome fella working with our two Superheroines?  Why it's ME!  Yes... I have returned as the neutral master of the G.A.G.G.S. Universe.  Am I on the side of good, or the side of evil?  The world may never know.  

  This strip also brings back the capture prone Victoria, the friend and assistant to Heart Dawn and Annie Mae.  It also helps explain the importance of HAVING capture prone girls working with you... just ask Daphne from Scooby Doo or April O'neil from TMNT. 

  One more thing (this is suddenly an Apple keynote speech) This is also the beginning of something I hope to utilize heavily in future strips... Interviewing and/or introducing other temporary members of G.A.G.G.S. .... (hint: Something MAJOR is coming!)

Today's strip tells more about the world of G.A.G.G.S. than any other.  In it, we learn that Heart Dawn has been around for many decades and has secret abilities that no one quite understands.  It also let's us know that the girls of G.A.G.G.S. have been battling a variety of villains for just as long.

  There's also a little hint at their world of merchandising, as we saw in yesterday's strip.

   And even though I created these characters... I REALLY want to see Professor Distressor's card collection!!  7,800 pics of Heart Dawn in peril?! .... It has become my goal to draw them all! 

Today, Wild Card tries his hand at capturing Heart Dawn, our other girl from G.A.G.G.S... but she's a little too much for him to handle apparently.

  This one also explores one of the aspects of the G.A.G.G.S. universe I've been slowly working into it, where both the heroes and villains have their own merchandising.  I guess I look at them as having an almost sports like rivalry... only one team is out for world domination. 

  In today's strip we officially meet the character of Wild Card!  While he made an appearance in the Rogue's Gallery of the last series, this is his first appearance in the strip. (Does that make this deviation a collectible?)  It is also his first time meeting Annie Mae.

  He is the newest member of B.O.U.N.D. and is always accompanied by his "Wild Cards" who like to give us a running commentary on him.

  Today's strip feature's Heart Dawn being captured by Professor Distressor and his evil robotic henchman, Mega-Hurts.  One of my goals with G.A.G.G.S. is to have at least ONE image of a damsel in distress included with each strip.  It can be about ANYTHING after that. ... But I'm curious to see how long I can keep that up before I run out of ideas... but that's what makes it a challenge.

  I would say this is probably the most personal strip to me, since I often tell people, "Never get me started talking about art."  I am OBSESSED with all things art... every form, medium, and style.  I watch EVERY documentary I can find, read everything I can get my hands on, and study artists and their techniques down to the finest lines of their work.  Anyway, I'm forever searching for my own definitive description of what I would consider art.  I know it's ALL subjective, and every person should love what they love regardless of what you feel you're supposed to like.

  All I know, is the more I try to understand it... the less I do. 

This strip introduces B.O.U.N.D, the arch-enemy organization out to destroy (or rather, distress) the girls of G.A.G.G.S.  We also learn how they pay for all those wonderful toys!

If anyone wonders why I changed the name of the Professor from Dr. Professor Scientist to Professor Distressor, it's because the Hulu series "The Awesomes" is lead by Professor Doctor.  ... I was first, but they are famous.  Point-"Awesomes"

SPOILER-The device in the background of panels 1 and 2 will make an appearance in tomorrow's strip as the diabolical "Caputron Restrainer".
