In the late 80′s (or very early 90′s) when I was still studying I stumbled upon a graphics library to render wire surfaces and immediately wrote a program to draw 3d plots. It was so cool at that time! But there was another thing that I liked (and still like) about mesh graphs – they look like fishnet pantyhose.

The opposite is also true. Let’s see how many of us here tried to make abstract or pattern-based photos using fishnets. At least I did (need to dig through old negatives).
